By accessing or using wee.cat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

wee.cat is an end-to-end encrypted team communication platform. We provide desktop and web applications for private messaging, file sharing, and team collaboration.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and encryption keys.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data.
• Use the Service for any illegal activity.

5. Encryption & Data Ownership

Your messages are encrypted end-to-end. You retain full ownership of your data. We cannot access the content of your encrypted messages. You are responsible for managing your encryption keys; lost keys cannot be recovered by us.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will result in permanent removal of your data within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, wee.cat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the application.
