Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using wee.cat ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

wee.cat is operated from Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain ("Wee", "we", "us").

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • You must provide accurate and complete account information.
  • Accounts are for individual use. Shared accounts are not permitted.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

3. The Service

Wee provides hosted cloud sandboxes (pods) with full shell access for AI-assisted software development. Each sandbox is an isolated containerized environment.

  • The Service is provided "as-is" without uptime guarantees.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
  • Sandboxes are ephemeral unless your plan includes persistent storage.
  • We reserve the right to impose resource limits (CPU, memory, storage, network) per plan tier.

4. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content, data, and activity within your sandboxes. This includes any code you run, files you store, and network traffic you generate.

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Billing and payment

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are granted at Wee's discretion. No refunds are issued for terminations resulting from Acceptable Use Policy violations.
  • We may change pricing with at least 30 days written notice. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.

6. Intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all code, data, and content you create within your sandboxes. Wee claims no rights to your content.

The wee.cat service, branding, and documentation are the intellectual property of Wee. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.

7. Liability and disclaimers

  • User liability: You are solely liable for all activity in your sandboxes. Wee is not responsible for any content you create, store, or transmit.
  • Liability cap: Wee's total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • No data loss warranty: You are responsible for backing up any data in your sandboxes. Wee is not liable for data loss.
  • No warranty: The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Wee harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

  • By you: You may cancel your account at any time. You retain access until the end of your current billing period.
  • By us (AUP violation): We may terminate your account immediately and without notice for violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • By us (other reasons): We may terminate your account with 30 days written notice for any other reason.
  • Effect of termination: Upon termination, all sandbox data is deleted within 7 days. We are not obligated to retain or provide your data after termination.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

Where EU consumer protection regulations apply, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
